The USPOULTRY Foundation awarded a $6,820 student recruiting grant to North Carolina A&T State University. The grant was made possible in part by an endowing Foundation gift from the Stanley & Dorothy Frank Family Foundation and was presented by John Starkey, president of USPOULTRY, to Dr. Tracy Hanner, interim chairman of the Department of Animal Sciences in the College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences (CAES).\ The funds will be used to support further education about the poultry industry among the university’s agriculture students.
