Tornado destroys North Carolina hog farm

 A tornado destroyed a hog farm in eastern North Carolina on Monday morning, according to WITN. The tornado touched down around 9:45 a.m. in Onslow County.  A hog farm on Haws Run Road was destroyed. Many of the hogs appear to have survived the tornado, WITN reported. The farm was operated by Smithfield Foods.
