Rural hospitals prepared for coronavirus

Concern grows for residents with high risk, little internet access Hospital officials in rural areas say their facilities are prepared to handle coronavirus cases, but they are concerned about patients who are at higher risk to catch the virus and might be missing treatment for other ailments. While the feared surge of coronavirus patients hasn’t yet happened, the staffs at rural hospitals remain alert because of concerns that the disease will spread from urban areas where it has largely been concentrated, the officials say.
