We are now fighting to address, and begin to emerge from the COVID-19 crisis, which has caused many North Carolinians to contend with job losses, health concerns, and disruptions to our lives and routines. This 50th Earth Day reminds us that by working together and basing our actions on science we can rise to meet the challenge of our current crisis and the one that’s gathering force behind it: climate change.
