 State health officials are coordinating a large-scale walk-up testing event to begin Thursday at Mountaire Farms' plant in Siler City after the company says 11 employees tested positive for COVID-19. Mark Reif, community relations manager, said eight new cases were identified since last week. He said nine additional employees at the Lumber Bridge plant have also tested positive for coronavirus.
