Interim director to take over Cooperative Extension

Livestock Agent Lauren Langley will take over the Alamance County Cooperative Extension as interim director Friday, May 1, according to a county news release. Director Mark Danieley is giving up administrative duties and transitioning to a horticulture agent position after serving seven years as director as he gets closer to retirement. The department is in joint partnership with N.C. State University, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and Alamance County dedicated to agricutlural education.
