Concerns about the illustrious "murder hornet" have arrived in North Carolina, but agriculture experts do not believe this particular hornet is in the state. "The reason they’re being called the 'murder hornet' is because they are horrible killers of honeybees," said Whitney Swink, a regulatory entomologist with the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. Swink is a member of the department's plant industry division and said Tuesday the Asian giant hornet...
