During the next several weeks, U.S. Department of Agriculture’s National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) will conduct the June Agricultural Survey. The agency will contact nearly 2,300 producers across North Carolina to determine crop acreage and stock levels as of June 1, 2020. “The June Agricultural Survey is a critical survey of commodities for the 2020 growing season,” said Dee Webb, North Carolina state statistician.
