Thrips flight and TSWV risk assessment report – update coming!
Story Date: 6/12/2020

Due to server issues associated with the Tobacco Thrips Flight and TSWV Intensity Predictor, our final report will be posted later this week. In the meantime, we are seeing some other interesting insect activity in our research plots at the Upper Coastal Plain Research Station near Rocky Mount. We are continuing to see some early hornworms of both species in the field this week. We also observed our very first newly hatched first tobacco budworm larvae (3 total across 1000 plants, so very low), and a handful of yellow-striped armyworm larvae.
