No House-Senate negotiations on COVID-19 aid till July 20

Formal negotiations between House and Senate leaders on more coronavirus aid will not take place until July 20th, according to Senate Finance Committee Chair Chuck Grassley. “We’re going to try to get things put into place for ethanol and biofuels, as well as more overall help for agriculture,” said Grassley (R-IA). Grassley says senators want to assess the state of the economy before proceeding with more aid discussions.
