The farmworker training are available NOW with safety protocols that align with state and county guidance, whichever is stricter. More information about training requirements below:
About the training: • Topics: Worker Protection Standards, Heat Stress Safety, Green Tobacco Illness, and COVID-19 • Training time frame is under 90 min. • Indoor: 10 people or less • Outdoor: 25 people or less (ex: tobacco shelter, under tree, shaded area) • Educator and employees must wear must during entire training. (We will provide masks if needed) Hand sanitizer will be provided prior to training. • Farm certificate mail later and electronic training log If you have agricultural employees needing training please contact Roberto Rosales at 252-883-5721 or rmrosale@ncsu.edu to coordinate a safe training.
