Grant helps Brevard farm offer no contact sales

A veteran -owned farm in Transylvania County is using a national grant to offer no contact sales to customers. Rooster Head Plantation in Brevard used its grant from the Food Animal Concerns Trust to purchase two high-capacity freezers to replace the small ones it currently uses. The freezers will allow the farm store to offer no contact sales of meats produced by the farm.
