 In her yard, Samantha Winship has a lot going on. Three years ago she started Mother's Finest Family Urban Farms with a few plants on her porch and now has bees, chickens, and different plots around her yard. “Don’t think that you cannot grow just because you don’t have acres of land. Just learn to work with what you have,” Winship says. She's hoping to inspire a new generation of farmers, mainly women, to think differently about the occupation, and believe that they belong in the industry.
