Arbiom, which touts itself for “wood-to-food” technology and says it is “pioneering the future of food with technology that converts wood into an alternative protein source for animals and humans,” has $10 million to further advance its plans. The company disclosed in a securities filing on Wednesday that it has raised just north of $10 million from three investors. “We’re already using wood for our buildings, furniture, floors and more… Why not re-imagine wood as food?” So says the firm at its website.
