 Congressman G. K. Butterfield (NC-01) has announced that some eastern North Carolina small business owners and entrepreneurs can get loans thanks to funds from the CARES Act. Butterfield said Friday that $671,000 has been awarded from the Economic Development Administration to the Mid-East Commission. He said the money will be available to small businesses and entrepreneurs impacted by COVID-19 in Beaufort, Bertie, Hertford, Martin and Pitt Counties.
