The Food and Drug Administration has scheduled a web seminar on the agency’s 2020 Leafy Greens STEC Action Plan. The document, released in March, focuses on Shiga toxin-producing E. coli (STEC). According to the FDA, there were 40 foodborne outbreaks of the Shiga toxin-producing E. coli between 2009 and 2018. The most common STEC is E. coli 0157:H7. The web seminar is from 2-3 p.m. Eastern July 30. The FDA will provide an overview of the Leafy Greens Action Plan...
