The US-Peru Free Trade Agreement took effect in 2009. Since 2010, North Carolina exports to Peru have grown by 54%. Major exports include machinery, agricultural products, and textiles.

New business prospects are opening up in diverse industries including water projects, IT/cybersecurity, medical equipment, and transportation. The Peruvian government is implementing long-term infrastructure and water projects that present contract opportunities for North Carolina companies.

Presenter Alonso Echevarria of Data in Motion will provide an overview of the Peruvian market and new opportunities available to North Carolina companies.
