Coverage of Fox News polls of the 2020 presidential race tend to focus on the advantage former Vice President Joe Biden maintains over President Donald Trump. It makes sense, as various states like Iowa and Wisconsin have seen safe Republican races move to the left. What has caught my attention through all of this is the surge of support in rural places for Joe Biden. Rather than contending with the 31-point gap that Hillary Clinton faced against Trump among rural voters in 2016, Joe Biden trails him by a mere 9 points.
