The U.S. Department of Agriculture has scheduled a web seminar on the Farm Service Agency’s Organic Cost Share Program. The seminar is at 1 p.m. Aug. 20; registration is online. The USDA recently announced cuts to the reimbursement rates, from 75% of the organic operation’s eligible expenses, down to 50%; the $750 per-scope reimbursement rate was dropped to $500.
