I am sometimes asked why the NC Agribusiness Council would include stories in the Daily AgPost that are so negative to/about our Industry. As my father, George Upton, taught me - "closing your eyes and your ears doesn't ever help you win an argument, because you can't fight what you don't see or hear." So while we may not like to read stories that are negative about our industry, I firmly believe it is important for us to see what is written about our industry - The Good, The Bad AND The Ugly.
