It has been a challenging year for Americans from coast to coast. As the public debates whether to send children back to the classroom, to continue with remote learning or both, the change of season marches on. As we look forward to cooler days and the changing of leaves, the Henderson County apple harvest season is already under way. Many of the local orchards have opened for the season and are harvesting some of the earlier variety of apples, along with baking apple cider donuts and filling their shelves with so many other apple themed items.
