Faculty have been working hard to maximize the online education
experience and continue to adapt teaching techniques as social distancing
guidelines on campus evolve. =
Faculty and students' research will continue as will programs
offered by Extension. Both research and Extension continue to thrive during the
pandemic. CALS Academic Programs Updates: =
2,665
CALS undergraduate students are enrolled this fall, plus 56 additional students
will join in the spring as a part of the Spring Connect STEAM program. =
280 Ag Institute students and 965 graduate students are enrolled
this fall. =

Over 2,000 approved research projects are being conducted
currently at NC State University (350 CALS faculty have been approved to conduct
both on and off campus research) baseline'>NC State Extension Updates:=

"Virtual Field Days" are taking place across
multiple crops and in many of our districts and we are developing protocols to
handle youth livestock shows. =
Working with DHHS to help distribute roughly one million
