The North Carolina Agribusiness Council will be conducting a virtual candidates forum for 2020.  While this is not our preference to do it as a virtual event, we unfortunately are forced by circumstances of Covid-19 to take this route.

And with the 2020 election sure to have so many tightly contested races, I'm sure we all want to know what these folks think about our AgIndustry and our AgIssues.  Therefore, we are asking you to submit any questions you may have for candidates for the following 6 races (Governor, Lt Governor, US Senate, Commissioner of Labor, Commissioner of Agriculture, Commissioner of Insurance) to epeterson@ncagribusiness.com by Friday, September 11th at 5pm.  Please specify which race your questions is directed towards (note, the same question can be for more than one race).  Questions will be compiled, ranked and submitted to both the Republican and Democratic candidate in each race - with full instructions to them on how to submit their answers/responses to the NC Agribusiness Council, the deadline, the format, time limits, etc. And then come October, NCAg will roll out the virtual candidates forum for you to see & share.

Thank you for your thoughtful consideration of questions to be submitted to the candidates.  2020 will be an impactful election for both our state and our nation - so, no matter your personal politics, remember, we are all members of the "Agritarian Party" - with a platform of providing the true necessities of life - Food, Clothing and Shelter!
