EPA must modify agrochemical regulatory process to protect bees

America does not have a great record of licensing of dangerous chemicals used in agriculture. There are 72 pesticides that can be used in the U.S. that have been banned from agricultural use in the European Union because of possible risks to humans and wildlife.   Food production in the U.S. and around the world is dependent on pollination provided by bees and other insects.
