 Officials at a stable in Hertford, North Carolina, say they are now looking into whether malicious poisoning might have led to the death of 4 horses and sickened a dozen others. In the latest update from New Hope Stables on Friday, officials say they are now considering poisoning as a possibility in the death of several horses at the stable. “Almost all known infectious diseases have been ruled out. We are working closely with the NC Department of Agriculture to find an answer.
