President Trump approved FEMA federal disaster relief for 15 North Carolina counties affected by Hurricane Isaias. The funding is available to state and local governments and certain nonprofits organizations. Aid will go to repair or replacement of facilities damaged by severe storms and flooding in southeast counties. Relief can also be used to hazard mitigation efforts across the entire state.
