The state has officially submitted its vaccination plan to the federal government – laying out its strategy, and priorities, in the coming roll-out of a Covid-19 drug. On Friday evening, the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) officially submitted its Covid-19 vaccination plan to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The 140-page plan details everything the state will need to do to mobilize a vaccine once one is approved by federal regulators, including the storage, distribution and oversight of the vaccine.
