Nine of the 213 potential coronavirus vaccines in development globally are in Phase III clinical trials, which means they could be a couple of months from approval. But that is only part of the process in moving past the pandemic. "How fast are we going to be able to make enough vaccine?" asked Pia MacDonald, an epidemiologist with Research Triangle Park-based RTI International.
