Local Extension Agent receives national agricultural award

Eve Honeycutt received the Distinguished Service Award from the National Association of County Agriculture Agents during the 2020 Annual Meeting and Professional Improvement Conference. Honeycutt was one of several honorees who represent the top two percent of the membership selected by their peers and the Director of Extension.  Honeycutt began her career with NC Cooperative Extension in 2003. She has served as the Livestock Agent for Lenoir and Greene Counites her entire career. Her work primarily focuses on youth programs, forages, and animal waste management.
