In a change from the first round of CFAP payments, the Coronovirus Food Assistance Program 2 (CFAP 2) covers broilers and eggs, including dried, frozen, liquid and shell eggs. Eligible producers may receive payments under the program.

Farmers have until December 11, 2020 to apply for CFAP 2. The CFAP 2 program is separate from the first CFAP program. Producers must submit a new application for payments from CFAP 2.

For more information about CFAP 2, including application assistance and a list of covered commodities, visit the USDA’s Farmers.gov Coronavirus Food Assistance Program 2 page.
