Three unions — the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, the American Federation of Teachers, and the United Food and Commercial Workers Union — on Monday endorsed Rep. Marcia Fudge, D-Ohio, for Agriculture secretary. In a letter to President-elect Joe Biden, the three unions said that Fudge has been an advocate for all workers, including meat processing workers and fought attempts to increase the line speeds in meat plants.
