OBSERVATIONS FROM THE FIELD
Rainfall between 0.25-0.75” was slightly below average this week,
while temperatures ranged above average. Pastures are still
holding shape as livestock continue to graze. Christmas Trees
harvest is at peak, as the weather remains good for harvest. –

Recent rains delayed soybean harvesting and other field activities.
Wheat generally looks good. Cabbage harvest continues. –
PASQUOTANK

Showers this week slowed late season fieldwork. – PAMLICO

Good week for harvest. – JOHNSTON

Harvest complete with the exception of soybean and cotton. Wet
soils and frequent rains continue to delay harvest and fieldwork. –
CRAVEN

Drier weather this week allowed farmers to get a few more
soybeans harvested. Group VI bean yield looks good. Wheat
emergence and growth has been good to excellent as warm
temperatures continue into late November. – PENDER
