This past year, COVID-19 has changed the way we live and work across the country. The first phase of vaccine distribution is a promising step toward eliminating this pandemic.

  • The COVID-19 vaccine is currently available for frontline health care workers and long-term care staff and residents only.
  • If you are a North Carolina resident, visit the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services to learn more about who gets the vaccine and when. For members outside of North Carolina, follow your state and local guidelines.
  • The vaccine will be available at no cost to you.

We know this year has been challenging. We’ll continue to update you as vaccine distribution expands in 2021. Be sure to keep practicing the 3Ws – wear a mask, wait six feet apart and wash your hands or use hand sanitizer – until everyone has the chance to be vaccinated.
