High Point is hoping to take some heat from Charlotte. The High Point City Council voted unanimously on Wednesday to authorize $31,758 in performance-based incentives to try to persuade Hot Shots Distributing Inc. to move from Charlotte to High Point. The hot sauce company, which was founded in 1992, is considering opening a distribution and manufacturing operation at 827 W.
