Too often sequels disappoint.  So what will the critics (myself included) have to say about the sequel to the not so little darling of the United States' pandemic economy, the Paycheck Protection Program?  Really, it is too early to tell, as the SBA has yet to issue rules or guidance to fill in the many gaps left by H.R. 133, The Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021.  But, as we await additional guidance from the SBA, which should be issued any day now, let's analyze what we know to date and see if and how this sequel may help many of our small and mid-sized businesses.
