Veganism is becoming a more popular lifestyle choice, thanks to the advancement of milk alternatives and plant-based options. But Fayetteville still falls short, as the city lacks any vegan restaurants.  But for two years, the city has played host to a vegan festival, 2018 and 2019. The COVID-19 pandemic canceled the one scheduled for 2020.
