Change in support leaves farm prices in flux (Ray Starling)

Financial support from the government the past couple of years has done a world of good for farmers who faced low commodity prices, dwindling export markets amid tariff battles and the upheaval caused by the pandemic, says a farming expert. There could be a looming price to pay for that support, though, Ray Starling, an expert in law and agricultural policy, told attendees last week at the Dairy Business Association’s virtual Dairy Strong conference.
