Tariff Series Part III: Carl-Heinz Pfaff has been in the timber business since 1979. Like Pfaff, North Carolina Foresters are really dependent on the export market to stay in business, and the China Trade war was a hard hit for this industry. The industry is hopeful that the situation has been resolved and that 2021 will prove to be a successful year, something the industry hasn't really seen since the tariffs began.
