In the early twenty-teens, Jenny Ong fell into the fashion influencer dream. She started outfit-blogging under the moniker Neon Blush as a hobby while preparing for grad school. The photos she shared of her largely black-and-white outfits with an urban edge soon attracted a following, and it wasn't long before she started receiving fashion week invites, lucrative brand partnerships and loads of free clothes. Eventually, she quit her job to focus on blogging full-time.
