This month, Hendrix Genetics published an analysis of 60 years of data from the North Carolina Layer Performance and Management Tests. The layer performance research is directed by Ken Anderson, professor in the Prestage Department of Poultry Science and recently named Fellow of the Poultry Science Association. The Hendrix Genetics piece highlights the land-grant mission and values of NC State. Through NC State Extension, author Teun van de Braak was able to gather data to support an analysis of 60 years of tests.
