Small Business Administration works with people to get their business ideas off
the ground. They provide assistance in planning, launching, managing and
growing the new business. Through guaranteed business loans, free business
counseling, and federal government contracting, they are there to help.
Dan Holt of the U.S. Small Business
Administration reviewed the second round of the Paycheck Protection Program
(PPP) with us. The program has sent out $73 Billion to date, and is designed to
help companies make payroll and pay direct expenses.
Last week, Dan Holt took some time to
review the Economic Injury Disaster Loans with us. These loans are designed to
help businesses that are adversely affected by COVID-19. Farmers and
agribusinesses are eligible and the application is fairly simple.
