Global Products Group, a manufacturer and distributor of botanical products, will expand its North Carolina operations in Oakboro. Global Products Group (GPG) plans to create 20 new jobs and invest $5.5 million in the Oakboro facility. “As a fourth-generation farmer in Oakboro, NC, we are at the leading edge of agriculture and consumer health. We are grateful for the community’s support and ability to expand operations to better support national and international clients,” GPG Head of Supply Chain Management Shawn Hatley said.
