Tesla founder Elon Musk isn’t only reaching for the stars with space exploration company SpaceX, he’s also reaching into the rural parts of North Carolina to provide broadband internet. Starlink, a subsidiary company of SpaceX currently establishing its satellite-based internet service, is set to provide the internet to rural communities in North Carolina and 34 other states with almost $900 million in federal subsidies.
