A wide array of North Carolinians will soon be eligible for COVID-19 vaccines after Gov. Roy Cooper announced all frontline essential workers can start getting their shots on Wednesday. “Our essential frontline workers have remained on the job during the pandemic, and I'm grateful for their work,” he said at his press briefing Tuesday afternoon. Vaccines will soon be open to all of Group 3, which includes restaurant staff, grocers, law enforcement, farm workers, postal service employees, and many others who must complete their jobs in-person.
