Nominations are being accepted through May 1 for the 2021 Extension Awards program. The Excellence in Extension Awards recognize Cooperative Extension professionals who excel at Extension programming, make a positive impact on constituents served, and provide visionary leadership for the Extension System. One national award and five regional awards are presented annually. In addition, the Award for Diversity acknowledges Extension professionals for work that supports diversity, pluralism, and innovative programs that impact Extension audiences. It brings national attention to innovative models and techniques that ensure Extension programs engage audiences equitably and effectively. The awards include a cash prize and travel stipends to attend a reception and the Board of Agriculture Assembly Awards Session at the 2021 Association of Public Land-Grant Universities (APLU) Annual Meeting. Award winners will be selected by the end of July. With only two months before the deadline, visit www.aplu.org/CESAwards and start completing your nominations today!
