It is reported that African swine fever is re-emerging in Asia. New outbreaks have been reported in China and Vietnam this year, and the disease has even landed on Malaysia's shores. There will be a high possibility that China's pork imports will remain strong this year. 


The GDP target this year was set at over 6%, which was widely predicted to be higher than numbers previously.

The Biden Administration is not getting tougher on the bilateral relationship, while to the contrary, people can expect some more "normalized and more traditional measures of diplomacy," Greg Gilligan, chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce in China told the Global Times during an online press conference on March 9. 

China and the U.S. should lift mutual travel restrictions in August or September, possibly become the first two countries to do so, Wu Zunyou, Chief Epidemiologist of the Chinese CDC said on an online forum on March 8.
