In 2019, Peter Ferket, William Neal Reynolds Professor, talked with Poultry Health Today at the World Veterinary Poultry Association Congress in Bangkok, Thailand. Poultry Health Today shared the brief interview (5:21:00), which focuses on the microbiome, or the organisms found in an animal’s gut. Ferket emphasizes that gut health has to be considered early, even before an animal hatches.
