The Environmental Working Group has released its 2021 Shopper’s Guide to Pesticides in Produce, also known as the “Dirty Dozen” list.   The list is not peer-reviewed, and research that is peer-reviewed has showed that disparaging conventional produce results in the consumption of less produce overall, especially among lower-income shoppers, for whom organic produce may not be an accessible or affordable alternative.
