Source: NCSU COLLEGE OF AG & LIFE SCIENCES, 3/29/21 Horticultural Science Summer InstituteJune 21-24, 2021Join NC State UNiversity’s Department of Horticultural Science for an exploration of horticulture through a virtual program
this summer that includes hands-on live workshops, do-it-yourself activities,
videos, and more. We will dig into topics like plant propagation, plant identification, garden design, growing fruits and vegetables, and much more. This year’s program is virtual, but will include a box full of the supplies you need to really engage in learning about horticulture. Each
day there will be a live Zoom session (that will also be recorded) focused on a
favorite horticultural topic. Youth will also have the opportunity to delve
into asynchronous material to further fuel their passion for plants. Youth will
be able to access the material all summer long through our program website. To
register for the virtual 2021 Horticultural Science Summer Institute, visit the Eventbrite registration page. For any
questions, please contact Liz Driscoll, program director, at liz_driscoll@ncsu.edu or
