NC State summer / fall field research job in Western NC

We are hiring a new team member to work in our NC Alternative Crops & Organics program this summer and fall. The position will be based at the research and extension center in Mills River, but will also be working at the research stations in Waynesville and Salisbury and on farms in Buncombe and Henderson counties. Crops we are working on this year include hemp, hops, Chinese medicinal herbs, woodland botanicals, broccoli, organic tomatoes, and truffles. The position runs from May through October and will usually be 24-30 hours per week at $15 to $16 per hour.
